Summer 2020 wasn’t like any other before (and we hope no other again!). Believe it or not, the 2020-2021 school year is almost over! That means it’s time to think about summer camp! Create special summer memories with any one of Rome’s awesome SUMMER CAMPS! Whether you are still social distancing or not, there’s a camp to make your Summer great!

Lady Hawks Shorter College Kids Soccer Camp
June 14th-16th from 9am-12pm
Cost: $125
Kids will get to improve their soccer skills in a 3-day camp where they will be coached by collegiate women’s soccer players and collegiate coaches. Each day will focus on specific skills and campers will be grouped with their appropriate age. Depending on numbers, there may be co-ed groupings.

Rain out day will be Thursday June 17th from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Ben Brady Field
Prospect Camp
High School females ages 14-18 years old
June 18th-19th (9am-4pm)
Cost: $225 (includes T-Shirt and lunch both days. The cost has been reduced to accommodate for lodging expenses)
A limited number of high school prospects will have the ability to improve in a two-day camp hosted at Shorter University by head women’s soccer coach Olivia Bloemke. Prospects will be working with collegiate coaches to improve their technical skills and tactical understanding. A limited number of registration spots give our staff the ability to provide individual attention and players to gain experience training under collegiate coaches.

A tremendous family-builder, highlighting dads and sons learning the fundamentals of the game together. Let the Vikings baseball staff work side by side with you to advance your backyard practices. Dads, make sure you are in shape! You will also be working on the drills and must be prepared to play against your son!

Kindermusik at Berry College
Growing with Music (ages 3 – 4)
June 21-25
Our adventures will explore water-themed songs, activities and movement that will spur imaginations and bring learning to life.
10 – 11:15 a.m. A sharing time with parents during the last 15 minutes of each class.
$55 includes a week of joyful activities and digital materials. Limited to 8 children per class.
Kamp Kindermusik (ages 5 – 7)
June 14 -18 or July 12 -16
Time to get your imagination and creativity juices flowing as you “Sing a Story!” Practice your singing skills, storytelling and dramatic flair. Children will explore Mozart’s story, The Magic Flute, and experience beginning piano skills.
10 – noon. There will be family sharing time on the last day of camp.
$75 includes a week of instrument exploration, movement, creativity, snack and craft. Digital music and activities available on the Kindermusik App. Limited to 8 children per class.

Hot Shots Summer Camps

8 weeks of Summer Camps at Hot Shots is now open! Join us for one week or all 8 weeks! Each week is a different theme and can be enjoyed VIRTUALLY (stay at home and gain access to all family curriculum), or as a half day camp or as a full day camp for ages 4-12. Register by May 31 to pay a $25 deposit to hold your spot.
Our campers will have a blast indoors (trampolines) and out (wacky water Wednesday with inflatables!), plus learning about our awesome weekly messages and concepts. Lot’s of time to play with friends and have so much fun doing daily obstacle courses, play in the gym, do crafts, and daily “theme specific” coloring sheets!
Weekly Themes: Heros Headquarters, Island Paradise, Roar into the Wild, Amazing Race, Camp Fire Camp Out, Fixer Upper, Heart of a Champion
All full day and half day camps include daily snacks, daily crafts, daily “cool down” popsicles*, Kona Icee treat once a week, Wacky Water Wednesday adventures, pizza and drinks for lunch on Friday plus weekly dippin dots ice cream celebration and graduation certificate each Friday! *popsicles and icee day not included in half day since both of these events happen after 1pm.

Over the course of several days, all campers develop skillsets indoors and out, build friendships and grow in their relationship with Jesus—while having the summer of a lifetime.

Kids Pottery Camp at Earthworks
Pottery Camp will allow young artists to explore clay in a variety of ways including sculptural pottery, hand building, decorating clay and slab work. Students will try their hand at the pottery wheel, glazing, carving, handle making and more! Cost includes all supplies, firings and a snack. Students will be contacted after the completion of the camp to pick up their finished fired pieces.
