   The Rome-Floyd County Library hosts reading programs, local history archives, online resources, and community events.

4. Parks & Recreation

   Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation provides leisure opportunities through public park and recreation facilities. They facilitate programs for youth sports, adult sports, seasonal camps, seniors, persons with special needs and special events.

5. Pickleball

   Rome offers 6 pickleball courts at our downtown Pickleball & Tennis Center. Join one of the many pickleball teams that play daily. Participate in scheduled pickleball events and tournaments.

6. Rome Area History Center

   Learn Rome’s area history as you walk through time starting from early settlements to recent history. The center also hosts an archive room, public tours and events year-round.

7. Rome Braves

   The Rome Braves are a High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Purchase tickets online for an upcoming game or season.

8. Rome City Auditorium

   This beautiful and historic performing arts center hosts performances by the Rome Symphony, traveling shows, concerts and community events. View a calendar of events and get ticket information.

9. Rome-Floyd ECO Center

   The ECO Center is a natural resource education center featuring live animal exhibits, pollinator garden and wetland trail. The center offers programs and events for all ages.

10. Stonebridge Golf

    Book a tee time at this beautiful, public golf complex surrounded by rolling hills, trees and nature preserves. The complex features an 18-hole golf course, driving range, Launchbox covered bays with food service and clubhouse.

11. Tennis

    Rome hosts the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College and the Pickleball & Tennis Courts at Downtown Rome. Both public facilities offer youth and adult programs, professional coaching, tournaments and events. Learn more about these world-class facilities.

12. Trail System

    Rome offers over 13 miles of paved, multi-use trails that follow Rome’s riverways and connect Downtown Rome to nearby attractions. Over 10 miles of unpaved trails are also located in the city; popular for both mountain biking and walking.
