Join the Rome-Floyd County Library as we welcome the Rome Area Flute Ensemble! This special event is free to the public and open to all age groups.

Bio:
The Rome Area Flute Ensemble was formed during the summer of 2008 and consists of experienced flutists from the NW Georgia and surrounding area. Our members have performed in various ensembles but welcome the opportunity to explore literature arranged for a flute ensemble. Our first performance was at the Creative Arts Guild’s FESTIVAL in 2008 and our first recital was May 15, 2011, at West Rome Christian Church. We have performed at Floyd Medical Center, numerous assisted living and nursing home facilities as well as prior to concerts of the Roman Festival Brass, NW GA Winds and ceremonial music for Rome and Floyd County Peace Officers Memorial Day Service. Our ensemble has consisted with as many as eight members performing together.
