Etowah Indian Mounds Historic Site, Cartersville GA
9:30-11:30am
Celebrate the first weekend of the year with a short guided hike. The tour will include both, history and nature features of the site.
Dress for the weather. The hike will be less than 2 miles, in and around our trails. It will mostly be flat ground, but we will walk to the top of the mounds, which can be strenuous. Wind atop Mound A can be much faster in the Winter. If the day happens to be warm, we still suggest a windbreaker.
Be prepared for watching small wildlife.Cameras and binoculars may be something you would like to bring.
