Rome-Area’s Best Christmas Lights 2020

This content has been archived. It may no longer be relevant

If someone were to ask me what it is that most gets me get into the Christmas spirit, I would reply without hesitation: Christmas Lights. Whether it’s a lighted tree in the window or a house worthy of Clark Griswold’s praise, I notice and appreciate them all.  …and a few of these houses  would sure give Clark a run for his money!

Updated 2020: Though we’ve done our best to bring up-to-date info, not all light displays (especially residential) have been confirmed this year. Check for ** notes to see what is NOT happening this year.

A couple of quick things.
1. On weekends we will play shorter song lists to help keep traffic from backing up too much.
2. Follow the traffic pattern that I am posting here when needed. This is to help neighbors get home safely.
3. Please do not block neighbors driveways. The one across from us is fine. But you may need to move if they come and go. Please be understanding.
4. Some nights there will be traffic elves. These could be adults to my teenage daughters. Please follow their directions.

“Perry started this project when he was around 18 years old. The display continued to grow over the years.  More and more people wanted to get a closer view of the lights, so he and his Dad created a driveway with one entrance in and one exit out to avoid traffic jams.  That’s how the drive-thru exhibit was created. It’s still free of charge, although donations are welcome.”

If  you are in the Rockmart area, please consider visiting the Nettles’ Light Show and donating to thank them for their service to families like ours!
