If someone were to ask me what it is that most gets me get into the Christmas spirit, I would reply without hesitation: Christmas Lights. Whether it’s a lighted tree in the window or a house worthy of Clark Griswold’s praise, I notice and appreciate them all. …and a few of these houses would sure give Clark a run for his money!

I heard Mr Nettles was having some health issues, so I emailed Sherry to see if they were still having lights this year. She responded saying “…With the help of friends and family, [Perry] is still working hard to get everything up and running on time.
“Perry started this project when he was around 18 years old. The display continued to grow over the years. More and more people wanted to get a closer view of the lights, so he and his Dad created a driveway with one entrance in and one exit out to avoid traffic jams. That’s how the drive-thru exhibit was created. It’s still free of charge, although donations are welcome.”
If you are in the Rockmart area, please consider visiting the Nettles’ Light Show and donating to thank them for their service to families like ours!
