OBGYN’s & Midwives

Harbin Women’s Health

Barry N Brass, MD

Marc M Dean, MD

Raymond R Jarvis, MD

We use Harbin Womens. I say this not for sympathy, but to share with you their level of care… we have had two miscarriages and two stillborns, (as well as one living). I have been with all 5 of those doctors in varying moments, from ultrasounds not finding heartbeats, to deliveries/d&c, and recoveries. Their bedside manner (office staff included) is nothing short of top-notch. My husband, the undrugged coherent one, is probably Dr. Jarvis’ biggest fan.

Dr. Brass at Harbin Women’s Center. At first, I switched doctors because I thought he was too brusque, but then I went into labor early and got him anyway. He did an amazing job with my c-section. It was my third, and somehow my easiest recovery, because he did such an amazing job.

I used Norton (Harbin) Women’s Clinic. Dr Brass is very experienced and his humor helps put you at ease. Both of my girls were delivered by him.

Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic

Lisa W. Blake, MD

Suni H. Carroll, F.N.P

James T. Douglas, M.D.

Dixon L. Freeman, M.D.

Ashley Holloway, F.N.P

Kristen Leezer, M.D.

W. Keith Montgomery, M.D. Note: Gynecology only, no OB.

Christopher Pickins, M.D.

Savannah “Sunny” Scoggins, C.N.M.

James H. Vick III, M.D.

In what was supposed to be a routine D&C to remove a uterine growth, Dr Vick tore through my uterus and intestines. In a humble and smart action, he called another GI surgeon to come fix it.  At just ten weeks after having a baby, I woke up from what should have been a non-invasive surgery, to another major recovery, and bills I am still paying off two years later. I know a lot of people love him, but I went through a lot of trauma because of Dr Vick. He could have at least taken care of the bills or done something to show me more compassion. I have had stomach issues since causing me to miss several days of work and lower quality of living. I know it is from this mistake. I need to caution others.

Dr. Vick and his nurse practitioner, Sunni were great! I was nervous going into my third C-section in a new city & hospital but Dr. Vick talked to me through the whole procedure. I was aware of everything going on. He also broke out into song a couple times in the OR & that helped to ease my nervousness. I would highly suggest Northwest Georgia Medical Clinic!

I love Dr Leezer, and would prefer to see her, but she’s hard to get an appointment with, and I ended up waiting almost an hour before seeing her multiple times. Otherwise, she’s awesome. I ended up usually seeing Dr Freeman because he stayed on schedule better, and I also appreciated that.

Dr. Leezer and Sonny Scoggins at NW GA are AMAZING. Dr. Leezer pushed for me to be able to have a VBAC and Sonny was the actual person in the delivery with me and it was such a great experience. The nurses in Labor and Delivery at Floyd were incredible too!

Dr Leezer all the way. I’m a mother of three. She was hands down the best. She delivered my daughter on her night off.
